ACTION MARTIAL ARTS MAGAZINE BRINGS HOLLYWOOD TO ATLANTIC CITY

A Martial Arts Extravaganza suitably nicknamed ‘The Academy Awards of Martial Arts,’ will host its third internationally recognized annual event at the world famous Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic city, New jersey.The Action Martial Arts Magazine’s Hall of Fame Banquet is a well-respected institution in the martial arts community. To its credit, the Event has the support and participation from the worlds most renowned and respected Martial Artists, and has participation by all facets of the arts such as film industry, all styles of the world, and business leaders in all related resources.
Action Martial Art Magazines’ Publisher, Alan Goldberg, has honored distinction for both his personal Martial Arts achievements as well as his involvement (along with editor Alan Sussman) in his magazines dedication to representing the ‘grass roots’ martial arts communities’ worldwide.
On January of 2003, in conjunction with his hall of fame, Publisher Goldberg and Peter Ticali of Creative impressions group, Inc. put their resources together to create ‘the Action Martial Arts Trade Show & Expo, which immediately became the largest martial arts exposition of trade and business related vendors, and entertainment celebrities alike.
Ticali, who is himself a lifelong martial arts practitioner, is the founder of the Martial LIFE Arts Association, a 501 (3) ( c ) tax exempt non profit dedicated to the advancements of what he terms martial LIFE arts. Ticali is also the sitting president of the New York Amateur Sports Alliance, Inc. (NYASA), which represents approximately 460,000 amateur sports participants in the metropolitan area. As the NYASA president, he also sits on the board of directors for NYC2012; an organization implementing the New York Olympic bid for the 2012 Olympic games. Ticali and Goldberg are also in the planning and discussion stages with the NYC Dept. of Parks to begin a citywide martial arts program with neighborhood instructors. This program will culminate annually with a ‘Pro-Am’ international tournament, where neighborhood children will compete along side international champions from around the globe. Together, Alan and Pete blend the teachings of mind, body, and spirit with modern martial arts training, and modern Action entertainment They carefully cultivate the old meeting the new while also acknowledging the ever-growing need to maintain personal safety in our complicated world.
This year’s event promises to be very special. The much-appreciated recognition of companies all the major components of our business is sure to be a factor in its success. These Industry resources have demonstrated themselves as primary role models in the martial arts community. This well deserved status has allowed them to continually stay at the forefront of our industry and help to shape the ongoing evolution of martial arts. We are honored they all will be in attendance

This seminar is geared for Law Enforcement Professionals. World Class martial Arts experts will teach the use of Pressure Points, Chin Na (joint locks), Grappling and Submission tactics, so that use of force and it’s legal implications can be minimized. Spectators are sure to enjoy exciting demonstrations on the Trade Show’s Main Stage and will have varied choices of free (with paid trade show entrance) clinics and seminars given by renowned practitioners who have assembled from over 15 countries and 30 US States to attend.
