TXMMA’s budget comes directly out of our own
pockets, and a lot of the time it just isn’t enough to cover expenses like
airfare & hotel, photo developing, web hosting, bribing Texas government
officials (ha ha we wish), and so forth. This site is done out of love for the
sport and the people in it, but we’re resorting to a little shameless capitalism
to help cover some of our costs. So if you like the shirt (it rocks, but hey,
we’re biased), BUY IT!
Detailed Design Images and Description
Click below to see a much larger image of each design featured on
the shirt. The Japanese kanji characters featured in the design form the word “shinjitsu”,
which means “truth” in Japanese. Circling the kanji on the back of the
shirt are the names of many of the most successful and popular arts in mixed
martial arts today, all contained within a tribal-inspired red sun.
Tribal-inspired touches also adorn the front and sleeve designs as well.
The shirt is inspired by what drove legendary martial artists to test their
skills against one another centuries ago, and what continues to drive MMA’s
warriors today: the never-ending search for truth in combat and truth in
oneself.
