Nate Orchard wins Onnit Invitational 2; Ryan, Jimenez, etc. shine in superfights
AUSTIN, TX – The 10th Planet crew held their second Onnit Invitational last Thursday in Austin with Andrew Craig and Curtis Hembroff bringing in talent from around the state to compete against the Austin locals and 10P rep Nathan Orchard in a 165 lbs. tournament. Lots of competitive matches and highlight moments all around including Kody Steele scoring a vicious belly-to-back suplex over Peyton Burns before finishing him off with an RNC and out-of-towner Gordon Ryan continuing to make his name in impressive fashion, even playing “possum guard” before snagging the leg of fellow leg lock enthusiast Jams Partridge. As for the tourney itself, it was competitive all around with Orchard and WSOF vet Durkee making their way to the finals. Nate ended up winning the whole thing in impressive fashion.
